Design. The MASS sofa is one of the largest products by SLOWDOWN, offering comfortable seating for the entire family and guests. Its modern, robust design features a comfortable backrest and armrests. You can also choose from different segment sizes to perfectly adapt the sofa to your space and needs.

Assembly / Modularity. Easily combine and connect individual sofa sections to fit your living room or terrace. Arrange it as a standard sofa or configure it into a larger L or U shaped set. Special connectors at the base make it simple to attach and detach the sofa pieces. It’s an ideal solution for both small living rooms and large spaces.

Comfort. The MASS sofa offers exceptional comfort due to its special bean bag filling, a mix of foam and beads.

Fabric description and care

Teddy fabric – an extremely trendy material that turns any SLOWDOWN beanbag model into a luxurious-looking interior piece. Beanbags made from this fabric resemble faux sheepskin or a soft plush teddy bear. The Teddy fabric is high-quality, soft, and very pleasant to the touch, creating a cozy impression. Made from 100% polyester, it can be machine washed whenever refreshing or cleaning is needed. Teddy is suitable for indoor use and is produced without harmful chemical additives or toxic substances (compliance confirmed by the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate). The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate is an international textile safety standard that ensures the fabric contains no harmful chemicals and is safe for human health.

Standard construction of SLOWDOWN beanbags:

1. Inner bag ComfortCore™.
   This inner liner holds the beanbag filling – soft polystyrene beads. The ComfortCore™ inner bag ensures durability and comfort. It reduces wear and tear, extends the product’s lifespan, protects the home environment from polystyrene or polyurethane dust, and makes it easier to put the outer cover back on after washing. The special elastic fabric allows for even and complete filling of all internal compartments of the beanbag.

2. Outer cover.
   The outer cover can be removed, washed, or cleaned – depending on the fabric it is made of (see the Care Instructions section). When changing your interior color scheme, you can also replace only the outer cover to match it.

3. Filling (polystyrene beads + foam)
   The MASS modular beanbags are filled with a unique blend of polystyrene beads and polyurethane foam. This composition ensures maximum comfort and long-lasting durability of the filling. It is an exclusive invention developed by SLOWDOWN engineers, unmatched in the beanbag market.

We craft every product with precision. Throughout the entire beanbag production process, multi-stage quality control is carried out, ensuring consistently high product quality — something we take great pride in. Most of the production steps are performed by skilled craftsmen. Below is a detailed description of each component of a SLOWDOWN beanbag:

Inner liner ComfortCore™

Zippers
Both the inner and outer bags use durable, large-tooth zippers that allow you to adjust the amount of filling – and therefore the softness of the beanbag. The zipper pulls are hidden under the fabric to protect your flooring. Only specially selected, strong fabrics are used in production, all tested according to the Martindale abrasion test. The zippers are made in Europe.

Filling (polystyrene beads + foam)

Packaging
Beanbags are packed in two ways, depending on customer preference: either in two thick, durable bags made of recycled polyethylene, or in a cardboard box with the product first wrapped in a protective polyethylene sleeve. Once received, the beanbag should be unpacked immediately – do not store it sealed inside the packaging. During transport, condensation may occur due to temperature differences, so unpacking is essential.

Threads and stitching
SLOWDOWN beanbags are sewn with double seams using reinforced (high-strength) threads. All fabric panels are cut semi-automatically, ensuring precise dimensions and eliminating product defects. The edges of every fabric panel are overlocked to prevent fraying and guarantee long-term product quality.

Labels
Each beanbag features soft, woven SLOWDOWN brand labels.

Moisture-control packet
To regulate humidity inside the packaging, each beanbag includes a single-use moisture-absorbing packet.

Guarantees and returns

• Beans bags are granted a 24-month guarantee from the date of purchasing a bean bag.
• The guarantee does not cover mechanical failures that have occurred due to misuse of the product.
• The guarantee covers all constituents and component parts of the product except for a bean bag filling (granules), i. e. compression of the product (granule packing is a natural phenomena; therefore, the bean bag will need to be refilled in the course of time).
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by the natural wear of the fabrics.
