Fabric description and care

Riviera - for temporary outdoor use!

Riviera fabric – a pastel-colored material suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The fabric surface is coated with a stain-resistant layer (Teflon-coated), making it resistant to various stains: spilled liquids simply roll off without soaking in. Riviera is safe for children – it contains no harmful chemicals (REACH certificate) – and is easy to maintain, as it can be machine-washed at 40°C. This breathable, air-permeable fabric is perfect for temporary outdoor use in verandas, terraces, on the beach, or by the pool. Inspired by the Mediterranean, Riviera is a practical and stylish choice! The fabric is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is produced without harmful chemical additives or toxic substances (compliance confirmed by the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certificate). The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate is an international textile safety standard that ensures the fabric contains no harmful chemicals and is safe for human health. This means Riviera is fully safe to use, high-quality, reliable, and allergen-free – making it especially suitable for children.

Washing instructions:

• The RIVIERA fabric outer bag is machine washable up to 40° C.
• Also, the bean bag’s outer outer bag should be washed without using the spin and tumble dry functions.
• The bean bag’s outer bag should not be ironed and should not be dry cleaned.
• Bleach-free detergent is recommended.

1. Inner bag ComfortCore™
   This inner liner holds the beanbag filling – soft polystyrene beads. The ComfortCore™ inner bag ensures durability and comfort. It reduces wear and tear, extends the product’s lifespan, protects the home environment from polystyrene or polyurethane dust, and makes it easier to put the outer cover back on after washing. The special elastic fabric allows for even and complete filling of all internal compartments of the beanbag.

2. Outer cover
   The outer cover can be removed, washed, or cleaned – depending on the type of fabric it’s made from (see the Care Instructions section). When you change your interior color scheme, you can also replace only the outer cover to match it.

3. Filling (foam)
   These SLOWDOWN beanbags are filled with long-lasting, high-density polyurethane (PU) foam made in the European Union. 

Quality

We craft every product with precision. Throughout the entire beanbag production process, multi-stage quality control is performed, ensuring consistently high product quality. Most of the production steps are carried out by skilled craftsmen. Below is a detailed description of each component of a SLOWDOWN beanbag:

Inner bag ComfortCore™

Outer cover
The outer cover can be removed, washed, or cleaned – depending on the fabric it is made of. When you change your interior color scheme, you can replace only the outer cover (meaning it’s not necessary to replace the entire beanbag).

Zippers
Both the inner and outer bags use durable, large-tooth zippers that allow you to adjust the amount of filling – and therefore the softness of the beanbag. The zipper pulls are hidden under the fabric to protect your flooring. Only specially selected, strong fabrics are used in production, all tested according to the Martindale abrasion test. The zippers are made in Europe.

Filling (foam)
These SLOWDOWN beanbags are filled with long-lasting, high-density polyurethane (PU) foam made in the European Union. 

Packaging

Beanbags are packed in two ways, depending on customer preference: either in two thick, durable bags made of recycled polyethylene, or in a cardboard box with the product first wrapped in a protective polyethylene sleeve. Once received, the beanbag should be unpacked immediately – do not store it sealed inside the packaging. During transport, condensation may occur due to temperature differences, so unpacking is essential.

Threads and stitching
SLOWDOWN beanbags are sewn with double seams using reinforced (high-strength) threads. All fabric panels are cut semi-automatically, ensuring precise dimensions and eliminating product defects. The edges of every fabric panel are overlocked to prevent fraying and guarantee long-term product quality.

Labels
Each beanbag features soft, woven SLOWDOWN brand labels.

Moisture-control packet
To regulate humidity inside the packaging, every beanbag includes a single-use moisture-absorbing packet.

Guarantees and returns

• Beans bags are granted a 24-month guarantee from the date of purchasing a bean bag.
• The guarantee does not cover mechanical failures that have occurred due to misuse of the product.
• The guarantee covers all constituents and component parts of the product except for a bean bag filling (granules), i. e. compression of the product (granule packing is a natural phenomena; therefore, the bean bag will need to be refilled in the course of time).
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by the natural wear of the fabrics.
• Please bear in mind that photo may slightly different from actual item in terms of color due to the lighting during photo shooting or the monitor’s display.
